The Lamor GTA 20 is a multi-purpose, hydraulically driven submersible positive displacement Archimedes screw pump manufactured by the Lamor Corporation. It is primarily designed for high-performance oil spill response, emergency offloading of heavy crude or bitumen, sludge removal, tank cleaning, and pipeline maintenance.
Anti-Emulsification Geometry: The positive displacement Archimedes screw operates at low speeds. This provides a gentle pumping action that prevents oil and water from emulsifying, making downstream separation much more efficient.
Debris & Solid Management: The pump features a debris grid and a built-in cutting knife at the inlet. It chops up ropes, plastics, or seaweed, and can be easily reversed from the control powerpack to self-clear blockages.
Cavitation Reduction: Its design ensures continuous priming, reducing cavitation and maintaining a constant flow even when shifting between different liquid viscosities.
Efficiency Boosters: It includes a built-in Annular Water Injection (AWI) flange. Injecting water or steam at the inlet lubricates the internal hose walls, drastically lowering hose pressure when moving highly viscous materials like bitumen. The pump could pe delivered with Hydropack, 60 meter (20ft) pressure hose.
